Although Lacoste is known for t-shirts and other unique styles of clothing, they continue to dip their feet into the sneaker world and are taking the market by storm! They have clearly tried hard to distinguish themselves as a great clothing brand, but also as a serious competitor among the ‘big guns’ of the sneaker industry. They are 75 years old and still going strong; Lacoste commemorates their anniversary with their fabulous collections which are made up of several unique styles including the Missouri MV, and the M85 Mid Shoe.
Lacoste has done it again, and this time, get ready to have your socks knocked off! Just when we thought we knew the definition of the words cool, hip, and phat, Lacoste has gone and integrated class with the snazzy characteristics found in this M85-Mid shoe. Simply put, this shoe rocks and will take your breath away even if you don’t know anything at all about shoes.
This company is showing major progress in the shoe industry and it is apparent that they seam to be going in the right direction. They have teamed up and collaborated with many breathtaking designers to bring you the absolute best of the best in comfort and design!
After the collaboration with Shoes-Up and the Missouri 85 MV edition, Lacoste has collaborated with Japanese retailers, Mita. This time they have added a cross trainer variation of the Missouri 85, and this shoe features a hexagonal pattern, croc print and splatter.

The M85-Mid still has the classic Missouri 85 look, but it also incorporates even more eye-catching details where the rubber mesh hexagonal pattern goes around the high top of the sneakers, leaving you wanting to see more!

Then there is the magnificent croc print that works its way from the mid section of the shoe and goes around the back of the heel which was actually taken from Lacoste performance tennis range.

The splatter that looks like they took a paint brush and flicked high quality paint onto the shoe is an all too cool added touch that meets the croc print and is all over the sole.  Each of these features are amazing individually, but we take our hats off to Lacoste on this one because they combined each smashing feature together and really added eye popping flattery to this creation! Gorgeous. Flashy. Classy. Sporty.

Each element of the sneakers is stylishly linked to the trio of colors, adding texture and appeal to an already solid concept. You get to experience a shoe that has both French and Japanese influence. The collaboration sports a black, white and purple color scheme, and with the croc logo on the side, you can easily identify that the sneaker is made of pure leather.
